Freedom Fry’s “Friends and Enemies” revels in the joy and terror of that vulnerability, leading to a contemplative track of exquisite depth. On their remix,Story of The Running Wolftake the track to the dance floor and plunder every corner of the song’s emotional core to make one hell of a deceptively ominous, good time. Much like friendship itself, SOTRW’s conceptualization of the track is full of intoxicating rushes belied by a low humming darkness just beneath the surface.
